Tarimatec presents the first edition of the Askin Awards, an international design competition aimed at students of architecture, design and engineering. Under the theme “Articulate space, control light”, participants are challenged to create a self-supporting piece or structure using a physical component from the ASKIN system.

The competition is born out of a desire to highlight emerging talent, promote material innovation, and foster real professional opportunities. Co-developed with design studio Summumstudio, the Askin Awards reaffirm Tarimatec’s commitment to the next generation and to a more conscious, sustainable, and purposeful approach to design.

Submissions are open until July 31, 2025, and winning proposals may be developed in collaboration with Tarimatec, with the added value of industry recognition and media exposure.

As part of its ongoing commitment to contemporary architecture, Tarimatec also maintains a professional showroom at docontract MAD in Madrid.
