Canalejas square project in Madrid is one of the most significant urban development projects undertaken in Europe in recent times. It encompasses the restoration of seven historic buildings, two of them from the end of the nineteenth century, which were merged as a result of the bank activity and that were in disuse for 15 years, ever since the movement of the financial center to the outskirts of the city. The complex has a variety of uses: a retail area, a luxury hotel, luxury homes and a parking garage. Carintec Madera S.L. had executed large part of the furniture, interior and exterior carpentry, claddings and suspended ceilings. Carintec have been cooperating with such great studios as LAMELA’S ARCHITECTS, BAMO and BG ARCHITECTURE.
